1/24 Hard Body Reading Modified Legends Late Model Outlaw Dirt Late Model Silver Crown 1/24 Dirt Late Model
Bodies
· Any plastic, or resin 1/24th or 1/25th scale that resembles a dirt or asphalt race car from yesteryear to current day racing. · Bodies must have fenders (no open wheel such as sprint car, mod car or Indy style car bodies). · Cars must have interior pan with driver (cage and other details not necessary). · Must have a windshield or screen in place. · Any body mounting system allowed as long as body is secure and body may float on chassis.
Chassis
· Pro Track #318, or #412, or #512 only. · Wheel base is 3 7/8 to 4 5/8. · Bushings or bearings may be used and can be glued or soldered in place. · Frames must be flat with no bends. · Motors must be mounted in the in-line position and may be soldered or screwed in place. · On brass chassis a 1/8 hole may be drilled for oiling purposes. · Chassis must have .047 track clearance. · Wing area on brass chassis to be considered body mounting area and may be modified accordingly. · The cars must fit the 3 Ό tech block.
Rear Wheels
· Pro Track #N320 (or what comes on RTR pro track chassis). · 1 min. dia. with 7/16 minimum width. · No beveling, tires must be flat across tread. · Maximum width is 3 Ό with 1/8 offset to the right.
Axles
· Axle must be solid round metal. · Front may be 1/8 or 3/32. · No floating front axles. · Front may be secured in place with washers, bushings or bearings. · Spacers must be K&S tubing, washers, or nylon only.
Gears
· 9 tooth pinion 48 pitch only (press on or solder). · 29 tooth or higher, 48 pitch plastic crown gear only (no drilling).
Motors
· Cheetah 2, or Falcon. NO MODIFICATIONS. PERIOD!!!!
General
· This class is for FUN!!! Dont get carried away. Make your cars look like a real car.
Bodies
· Cars must resemble the 60s and 70s era. · Cars must be painted with driver and cockpit detailed and must have numbers on cars. · Check for availability on bodies and hoods.
Chassis
· Cars must be made from a Parma FCR 4 (#577) only. Frames must be narrowed from 1 Ό to 1 3/8 in center between axle uprights. · Must use square stock adjustable-bushings, 1/8 axle installed in stock square holes. No modifications. Bushings may be soldered or glued into place. · Frames must be flat when building. No bending or tweaking. · No modifications to the guide tongue, motor plate or axle uprights. · You may enlarge the motor plate hole to accept the pinion gear only. · The cars must fit the 3 Ό tech block. · Minimum track clearance is determined by tire size.
Roll cages
· Cages must be mounted to tubing receptacles. · No soldering the cages directly to the frame. · Cages are made from piano wire #.062, round brass rod or tubing. · Minimum cage height is 1 Ύ at front and rear hoops of roll cage.
Nerf Bars and bumpers
· Must resemble the cars of that era. · Must have side rails, front and rear bumpers. · Piano wire #.047 is used to make them. · Bumpers and side rails may not extend beyond the outer edges of tires. Axles
· 1/8 solid metallic round only. · You may use front independent rotating wheels. · Axle may not be stationary.
Rear Wheels
· Pro-trac 1 sponge only (.800 wide minimum). · No large drag hubs. · Right and left rear wheels minimum .900 diameter. · No beveling of tires. They must be flat across tread. · Maximum width is 3 Ό with 1/8 offset to right.
Front Wheels
· Pro-trac 7/8 sponge fronts (NASCAR firm). · Minimum diameter is .860. · Minimum width is ½ on right front and left front may be narrowed to 7/16 minimum. · No beveling of tires. Must be flat across tread. · Maximum width is 3 Ό with 1/8 offset to right side. · No altering the sponge tire with tape or nail polish for example. (must run stock from the box)
Axle spacers
· K&S tubing, Slick 7 washers or nylon axle spacers only. · Axle collars are allowed but no springs and/or axle collar ball bearings.
Gears
· 9 tooth 48 pitch only. (press on or solder) · Straight or angled pinions. · 28-29-30 tooth, 48 pitch plastic crown gears only. · No drilling or altering at all of crown gears.
Motor
· JK Falcon only #jk3020 with stock arm. (short or long shaft) · No modifications permitted.
Chassis
· Champion #401, or Parma #572 or #573 only. · Weight may be added to chassis. · Wire bracing allowed. · No opening front axle holes for movement. · Rear oil lites may be soldered or glued to chassis. · The cars must fit the 3 1/8 tech block. · Minimum track clearance is 3/64.
Axles
· 1/8 solid steel drill blanks with maximum 1/8 offset to the right. · Front axle must be in the back hole of the chassis in the legend class.
Axle spacers
· K&S tubing, Slick 7 washers or nylon axle spacers only. · Axle collars are allowed but no springs.
Tires
· Fronts 5/8 minimum diameter foam or .400 wide minimum. · Rears are .790 minimum diameter with .800 wide wheels. (No steam roller style wheels and tires allowed. These wheels are wide hub with thin foam tread mounted.)
Gears
· Legend cars must use 9/29 gear ratio only. · Pinion gear must be 48 pitch. · 48 pitch plastic crown gear only. · No altering or drilling of gears. · Late Models must be 9 pinion, 48 pitch with open crown gear. · No altering or drilling of gears. · 48 pitch plastic crown gear only.
Motors
· Legend cars will be using JK Falcon motors and may not be opened or altered in any way with the exception of changing lead wires. · The late model class will be using the Pro Slot Speed FX 16D Part #PS2000 or the Kelly Speed FX 16D Part #KEFX2000. The only change that may be done to these motors is the changing of the brushes and brush springs. The armature can be rebalanced and the com can be trued. Motors may not be changed in any other way from the manufacturer. The motors must be mounted at an in line position on the chassis.
1/32 Scale Dirt Modifieds
Chassis
· Parma #572 or #573, Champion #401 or Sprint Plus Chassis. · The cars must fit the 3 1/8 tech block. Minimum track clearance is 3/64.
Bodies
· Bodies may be scratch built or constructed using a number of different commercially produced bodies. · Cars must have an inside deck panel or interior that runs the entire length of the main body section. · The front hood must extend over the front axle. · There must be a Όminimum between the top of the hood and the lowest point of the roof line. · Front rear and side windows may be clear plastic or cut out. · The rear end of the body may be open. · The enclosure must run the entire length of the deck lid. · Cars may have a 5/8 maximum spoiler on the rear of the inner deck panel and a 1/8 maximum spoiler on the rear of the roof. · No front or roof wings permitted. · The car must measure at least 1 ½ in height to the top front edge of the roof. (A tech tool will be used for this measurement). · Nerf bars and bumpers are optional.
Axles
· 1/8 solid steel drill blank axles with oil lites or ball bearings on chassis. · Maximum 1/8 offset to the right.
Axle spacers
· K&S tubing, Slick 7 washers or nylon axle spacers only. · Axle collars are allowed but no springs.
Tires
· Front tires 5/8 diameters with .400 minimum width. · Rear tires minimum diameter is .790 with .800 hub width.
Gears
· 48 pitch plastic crown gear only. · No altering or drilling of the crown gears permitted. · Your choice on pinion gear. (48 pitch).
Motors

1/32nd Scale Sprint Cars
Chassis
· Only allowable chassis are: Parma #572/#573 Womp, Champion Thumper #401, and Sprint plus #1050 main frames only. · Parma and Champion frames must be narrowed to 1 minimum or 1 1/16 maximum in the center section. · No offset frames allowed. · A front axle tube may be added for strength. · Stock air hole in chassis may be enlarged to 9/16. · An additional 1/8 hole may be drilled in front of the end bell for oiling purposes. · No other holes may be drilled in chassis. · The car must fit the 3 1/8 tech block. Minimum track clearance is 3/64.
Bodies
· All bodies must be of a one (1) piece design and must resemble a traditional sprint car. · No homemade bodies or scratch built bodies. · Bodies manufactured by Sprints Plus, Rhino, LRE and Hack Chassis Co. are recommended. · Bodies may not be cut down. · The front nose of the body must extend over the front axle. · Bodies must have a full tail section. · Tail must be level with the bottom of the chassis. · No holes may be placed in the body for cooling purposes or air escape. · The cockpit area around the drivers arms and steering wheel must be painted. · You may cut out the air intake on the hood and the cockpit area around the driver. · There must be a ½ gap measurement between top of hood and front edge of top wing. (No slammer cars.)
Roll Cages
· All cars must have a six (6) point roll cage. · All cages must be mounted to tubing receptacles. · Cage must be constructed of 1/16 tubing rod, or wire. · All cages must have second set of rear down tubes located behind main cage supports. · Tubes may be angled toward rear of frame. · Front down tubes (Gambler style) are optional. · Minimum cage height must measure a minimum of 1 5/8 at the rear of cage and 1 ½ at the front. · All measurements are taken from the bottom of the frame to the underside of front and rear cage bars.
Nerf Bars
· All cars must have front, rear and side nerf bars. · Nerf bars must resemble that of a real sprint car. · All nerf bars must be constructed of 3/64 material and must be soldered to the frame. · Side and rear nerf bars may be of a double bar design. · Front nerf bars (bumper) may be of a single bar design. · Nerf bars may not extend past tires on either side.
Wings
· All cars must have a top and front wing. · Wings must be constructed of .010 minimum Lexan and/or polycarbonate material. · Top wings must be attached to mandatory wing mounts, which must be located at the front and rear of the cage. · Top wing must be securely mounted in a fixed position (screws are recommended). · No slider or removable wings permitted. · Top wing main panel may be flat or of an airfoil design. · Top wings may not extend beyond the rear tires, or past the center of the front axle. · Top wing may be offset a maximum of Ό to the left side. · There must be a ½ minimum clearance between the right sideboard and the right rear tire. · Sideboards may have a 3/32 maximum L lip. · Main panel may have a 1/8 gurney flap on rear edge. · Sideboards may be staggered. · All wings must resemble those used by a real sprint car. · Sideboards must be positioned to resemble an actual sprint car. · All cars must have a front wing. · Front wing must be mounted to a front wing mount. · Wings may not be mounted directly to the body. · Rear edge of the front wing may not extend beyond the rear of the front tires and the front edge may not extend past the front bumper. · Wings must be securely fastened in a fixed position (screws are recommended). No slider or movable wings permitted.
Top Wings

Front Tires
· American Line #1075A fronts can be used .700 diameter minimum. · All other front tires must be 5/8 minimum diameter with .400 width minimum. · All front tires must be flat across tread face and no O ring tires permitted.
Rear Tires
· Minimum diameter is .790. · Right rear tire must be equal to or larger than left rear tire. · Foam earplugs and/or plastic may be used to simulate wheel covers.
Gears
· Any gear ratio permitted and 48 pitch plastic crown gear only. · No altering or drilling of the crown gears permitted.
Motors
· JK 3020 with stock arm and no modifications.
1/32nd Scale Outlaw Dirt Late Model
Chassis
· Parma Womp or Champion Thumper chassis. · Cooling hole may be enlarged and a 1/8 hole may be drilled for oiling purposes for motor. · Motor plate must still be in place but the pinion hole may be enlarged to accept gear. · Car must fit in 3 1/8 tech block with a 3/64 track clearance.
Bodies
· Any manufacturer 4 dirt late model style body or Parma Outlaw T or Outlaw M. · You may use pin tubes or chassis extenders from ASCB body mounting.
Axles
· Axle must be 1/8 solid round metallic only and you may use independent rotating front axle. · No stationary axles permitted. · Wheel spacers must be K&S tubing, washers or nylon material. · You may use 1/8 lock collar on axle. · No springs permitted. · Maximum 1/8 offset to the right only.
Rear Tires
· Sponge or natural rubber tires only. · No silicone tires permitted. · No tuner tires with oversized hubs permitted either. · Minimum diameter is .790 and must be flat across tread face.
Front Tires
· Pro Track, Sonic Hard Ones, American Line or Parma dish type O ring type only. · Minimum diameter tires for the front is .740.
Motors
· We will be using 16D American Arm motor and must be mounted in the in-line position.
Gears
· Any 48 pitch pinion gear on motor and 48 pitch plastic crown gear on axle. · You may not drill or alter crown gear in any way.
Bodies
· No cut down bodies. · Must have full tail section. · Must be one-piece design and resemble a real Silver Crown Car. · No homemade or scratch built. · Bodies by LRE or HACK Chassis. · Front nose must extend over front axle. · No holes may be cut into bodies for cooling purpose or air escape, except for hood scoops that are molded and designed as in a real Silver Crown Car. · Must paint drivers arms and steering wheel to look real. · Must paint body and have numbers on both sides of tail section. · Engine compartment must be blacked out and header decals or painted headers to simulate real headers.
Chassis
· PARMA #573 Long Chassis only. · Must cut Stock Chassis and add Ό piece behind front uprights. · Must narrow chassis 1 minimum to 1 1/6 maximum in center. · May enlarge stock motor cooling hold to 9/16 square or round maximum. · May drill a 1/8 hole directly below end bell for oiling. · No drilling of stock axle holes. · May add weight and bracing, must remain inside frame. · Minimum track clearance of 3/64 on all parts of chassis and gear. · Only one guide flag mounted in stock position. · No offset cutting of frames. · May solder front axle tube between the front uprights only. · May open pinion hole in motor mounting plate. · No removing or repositioning motor plate. · Motor must be mounted in center and in an in-line position. · No other cutting, drilling, machining or removing any brass except for oiling hole, air hole and pinion hold allowed. Roll Cage
· Must resemble that of a current manufactured Silver Crown design. · Must be mounted to tubing receptacles. · May not be soldered to chassis permanently. · Must be constructed of 1/16 tubing, round rod or round wire. · Minimum height at front and rear cross member is 1 Ύ measured from bottom of chassis to underside of front and rear cage cross members.
Nerf Bars
· Must resemble that of a real Silver Crown Car. · Must have front and rear bumpers and side nerf bars. · Must be constructed of 3/64 round tubing, rod or wire and must be soldered to frame. · May not extend beyond outer edge of tires on either side.
Axles
· Must be 1/8 solid metallic axles on front and rear. · Must use 1/8 round axle bushing in rear only. · No offset round bushings. · No split axles. · Front axle may not be mounted in a fixed position; it must rotate freely. · May use independently rotating front wheels by E clip axles, soldering a flange on the ends of front axle, or peening a flange on the end of the front axle. · Maximum 1/8 offset to the right.
Rear Wheels/Tires
· Must use Pro-Trac #237 Daytona Stockers with white lettering only. · Minimum right rear diameter is .910. · Right rear may not be narrowed. · Left rear must be equal to or smaller than right rear. · May narrow left rear on set screw side to edge of hub where it is glued to hub. · No beveling or tapering tires. · No filling wheels with lead or heavy material. · No add-on wheel weights, springs or axle collar bearings. · May use ear plugs or plastic discs to simulate wheel covers. · Maximum width is 3 1/8.
